Project 365: Week 16

Sunday: Day 106: Check out the new welcome mat that Jay so graciously made for our new house. I love it! Had to try it out at the old place to see how it would fit and now I cannot wait to use it at the new place!Monday: Day 107: We are in full on packing mode at our house! Boxes boxes boxes EVERYWHERE! Our whole office has been taken down and boxed up already!Tuesday: Day 108: Pretty kitty, eh?! I love this picture of our cat Diesel! Of course it is only one of many, but I just love the depth of it and his solemn looking face! I don’t think he was feeling very well this day though.Wednesday: Day 109: Got some new kicks for running! Had to try them on to make sure they would work! Won’t be putting them back on my feet until it is time to start the Couch to 5K program in a few weeks!Thursday: Day 110: A pretty statue that I was given for some reason or another (can’t really remember why), but just looking at it inspires me!Friday: Day 111: Catching some drips coming off of the roof after some snow that we had gotten this past week. Love catching them in mid-air!Saturday: Day 112: Got to hang out with one of my besties for a couple of hours today and her son! Ayden and Seth had a great time playing together! Love this girl to pieces and then some!

Project 365: Week 15

Sunday: Day 99: Just a few more weeks and this will no longer be the view right down our road… no more train tracks really close… that is both a good and sad thing!Monday: Day 100: New comforter for Ayden’s bed! Thinking BOLD and BRIGHT for his new room, even though the walls will be white. And, got a steal on the quilt because I found it at Good Will, just need to wash it after we move.. it’s already all boxed up!Tuesday: Day 101: Little man was being creative with this Legos and mommy had to take a picture!Wednesday: Day 102: I couldn’t get over the blue sky today. I could probably have sat in the back yard just staring up into the sky ALL afternoon  long thinking about life and how funny it can be sometimes…Thursday: Day 103: You can see the smile in his eyes, love it!

Friday: Day 104: Nature walk for Cub Scouts, couldn’t resist bringing the camera along too for some fun pictures!Saturday: Day 105: Craft time at our household and letting little man use the spray paint. He had lots of FUN FUN FUN with that, hehe!Photos taken by: Ashley Schwobe

Project 365: Week 14

(Despite the fact that I did take a photo every day this week, I cannot say that all of them, or even any of them, are all that inspiring, it was more of a week to just get the photo taken rather than look for something neat to photograph.)

Sunday: Day 92: Technology rules at our house and more often than not, this past week I was on my tablet rather than my laptop. I don’t know that I turned my laptop on all week to do anything school related when I could do most of what I wanted on my tablet.Monday: Day 93: Ayden had gone into my bedroom Monday night to watch some TV while I was watching a show I had on in the living room and after my show was over (at 8pm, so it wasn’t even that late), I walked into the bedroom and found him fast asleep curled up in my quilt. Love sleeping pictures!Tuesday: Day 94: Even though Jay seems to think I take up the entire bed while he is gone, that is untrue… my body pillow takes the place of where he would usually sleep and I tend to stay more on my side. It just feels more comforting with something in his ‘spot’ while I sleep. Weird, I know.Wednesday: Day 95: Do I keep a lot of stuff in my purse?! Probably more than your average person. You cannot really see anything that I keep in my purse from this picture, but believe me when I say an hour with this thing on your shoulder and you start to feel it, haha!Thursday: Day 96: I cannot get over how green the grass is already. LOVIN’ it! Now if only we could get some of that super warm weather back that we had a few weeks ago in March and I would really be enjoying spring!Friday: Day 97: The first public glimpse of our new house! Definitely needs a bit of landscaping done and Jay has all sorts of ideas already! I think we’ll just concentrate mostly on getting the lawn to look good this summer and worry about more of the stuff next summer (if we will be there for another year). I love the color of the house! I love being able to say I live in a red house, hehe!Saturday: Day 98: Obligatory Easter egg coloring at Grandma Wendy’s house! It was lots of fun too, always is!

Project 365: Week 13

Sunday: Day 85: The moving process has slowly started at our house! Our garage is now in shambles as we start to sort through everything that we want to keep and what we want to see. No more parking in it for me! Thankfully, we hopefully won’t be getting anymore snow this yearMonday: Day 86: We got our new pampered chef apple slicer and Ayden can now slice his own apples. We are big on not eating apples straight up at our house, haha, we prefer them sliced up!Tuesday: Day 87: Thin mints are possibly the BEST girl scout cookie EVER! Too bad Jay took a sleeve of cookies for himself before I even got to see the box! Oh well, Ayden and I enjoyed sharing the other one!Wednesday: Day 88: Ayden wanted to learn how to ‘make’ macaroni and cheese so I supervised pretty closely while he made supper tonight! He also warmed up some hotdogs and peas for us to eat, yummy!Thursday: Day 89: I’ve started replacing one meal a day with these Body By Vi shakes and let me tell you, you can make some SUPER delicious shakes! I’ll be posting more about it on my regular blog so feel free to check that out!Friday: Day 90: I don’t really like eating a plain banana, but I have been mixing them in with my shakes and they taste delicious! Banana nut bread shake… YUM!!!Saturday: Day 91: With daddy home for only 24 hours, we had a lot of good family time. We played a game dealing with the United States and we all had fun! We have had it for ages, but had never played it. Glad we finally opened it up!

Project 365: Week 12

Sunday: Day 78: An ‘almost’ hole in one! Or not, we were actually just at the golf range practicing our putting. Well, to be more precise, just Ayden and Jay were practicing their putting. I was taking pictures of their practicing!Monday: Day 79: Future MLB star?! Maybe!Tuesday: Day 80: Got my hair chopped and this was a before picture… it is A LOT shorter now and I love it!Wednesday: Day 81: This is the after shot… okay, the after of Ayden. He got his hair cut too and he look so much older! Someone please remind me why I wanted to cut all of his hair off?!Thursday: Day 82: Skyping on the iPod with Grandpa Mark! It is so awesome that there is technology out there that lets us do this!Friday: Day 83: Just what are YOU looking at?!Saturday: Day 84: I’ll never tire of this face… NEVER!

Project 365: Week 11

Sunday: Day 71: Jump like you’ve never jumped before! Jump higher than you ever jumped before! JUMP JUMP JUMP!!!Monday: Day 72: Think I should limit Ayden’s iPod use?! He is on it ALL of the time! Okay, so maybe not ALL of the time. At least he is getting some good use out of it!Tuesday: Day 73: The plants are growing! The plants are growing! I cannot wait until my tulips bloom in the coming weeks. I love tulips (almost, almost as much as I love lilies, almost…)Wednesday: Day 74: I just loved the contrast of the red and blue in this picture. Simple enough, just liked it.Thursday: Day 75: Ayden and his cub scout Wolf Den and their leader and one of the pack meetings. Really going to miss this group of kiddos when we move!Friday: Day 76: On the 76th day of 2012, we were able to have our back door open (please ignore the need of a new paint job on it, we rent, haha) ALL day long! It was gorgeous outside and that is UNheard of at this time of the year!Saturday: Day 77: Just how many turtles can fit on one log?!

Project 365: Week 10

Sunday: Day 64: Ayden and I spent the morning painting with water colors on Sunday. We had lots of fun, especially since I was so chill about it and we were doing it on his bedroom floor. Our creations were for his leprechaun trap!Monday: Day 65: Dress drawer handle. Looks pretty vintage, eh? Eh… not so much.Tuesday: Day 66: Let’s play peek a boo with the kitty cat! Oh, our lives would not be the same without Diesel, there I admit it. Love that crazy kooky cat!Wednesday: Day 67: Shh… I have a secret! Oh wait, I wish I had a secret! Maybe it’s just time to be quiet, hehe!Thursday: Day 68: Can’t wait for these bushes to start growing again. Can’t quite remember what is in them. But even better than that… can you see any snow in the background?! Me either, how fabulous!Friday: Day 69: A peak inside my closet, um… clothes much?!Saturday: Day 70: The sky was just too pretty for me not to take a picture of it on our drive ‘home’ Saturday night, I mean seriously, look at it!
